Swim Brands To Watch

I always feel like most of the brands I follow on Instagram are either cool, small sunglasses brands or boutique swim brands that are on the brink of taking off. This time of year we are always looking for new bathing suits to wear in the spring/summer, especially for spring break trips. I like to start thinking about it now because otherwise I usually forget until the two weeks before I leave and then everything under the sun is sold out.

LBD

As each new year begins, I am left feeling like I don't have enough nice dresses for all of the upcoming events. My mom always reminds me that you can never have too many LBD's (little black dresses) so I am on the hunt for finding another to add to my wardrobe.

We have pulled a few black dresses that offer different shapes and prices. Keep in mind that dresses like these are often an investment but definitely worth buying, as you can wear them multiple times.

(The second one isn't really a LBD but I saw it in the window of a store the other day and haven't been able to stop thinking about it since!)

I am a sucker for a good sale. I check Gilt regularly and stock some of my favorite websites looking for their newest markdowns. Today on Gilt there is an especially good sale featuring black and white staples picked out by Ashley Madekwe, who you probably know from Revenge.

If I could, I would honestly buy every piece in this collection. Black leather jackets, black cigarette jeans, gold hoops and other pieces that are PERFECT for a going out outfit.

Mixing and Matching Free People

Every time I go on the Free People website, I am excited (and slightly confused) about the how many different styles you can find. It appeals to a minimalist, someone who is boho chic or even to an "athleisure". For instance, these New Balance sneakers are really cute and perfect for a day in the city with a pair of distressed jeans and an oversized sweater. OR you can get this lace choker which would work better for a night out with black heels, leather pants (or skirt) and a white blouse.
