Knowing that today was the first day of Fall, I let myself pull out my white jeans one final time. The weather in Madrid is still very warm, but as the first signs of Fall come, people are already switching to their all black outfits and big scarves.

I love seeing the different numbers people put together as the weather changes and find it interesting how it differs from the States. One of my favorite parts of Fall is being able to dress in comfy, oversized sweaters, black pants and short boots which I now can wear while having a 'cafe con leche'.

I kept this outfit light, pairing white jeans with an oversized cargo jacket over an everyday splendid gray tee. My new Zara shoes helped keep the outfit from being too summery and were perfect for walking around yesterday, as they are extremely comfortable and haven't given me blisters! I threw on this Love Quotes scarf because I figured I wouldn't be able to wear white linen again for a while.

Finally, my favorite part of this outfit is my new Mango bag. Since I arrived in Madrid, I've been staring at this bag every time we pass one of the stores - Mango is a Spanish company so the pieces here are amazing! I thought the bag slightly resembled the Phillip Lim Pashli Mini Satchel, another item I've been eyeing for a while, so I had to get it. The best 25 Euros I've spent yet!
