Workout Wednesday

The most important part of working out is feeling good about yourself. With the right outfit, anything is possible. While it was a bit difficult to get pictures for our first Workout Wednesday post because of the freezing weather in New York, we were able to snap a few shots of an outfit that is perfect for any type of exercise. Pair a casual white tee (this one is Gap) with a pair of leggings (Lululemon) and bright sneakers (Nike) to get this look. Add a cute puffy jacket, like this Uniqlo one for warmth! 

Beginning the New Year in style

This Alice and Olivia maxi is a simple but beautiful classic that is great from anything from New Year's eve with a pair of Tory Burch sandals to Prom with a pair of wedges. Whatever your body type, this dress if flattering, elegant, and bound to make you feel like all eyes are on you. This is a favorite of ours because you can almost never go wrong. Put it on with a messy high pony tail, piece of Citrine Jewelry, some light make up and you're all set!

This winter, "boyfriend sweaters" have been a major trend because they are easy to wear over a pair of leggings or jeans and can be dressed both up and down. Casual Dinner for Two

As I shot one of my good friends, and watched her boyfriend try to make her laugh from across the table, it came to me that this outfit was perfect for a casual date night and our blog. It sends the right message - you haven't put too much thought into the night but you care enough to want to create a good first impression. A neutral sweater with a pair of colored jeans can be worn to just about anything, but adding a big pair of earrings and a fur scarf makes it perfect for a casual night out.
