Letters by Zoe

by Tinner in

A few days ago Letters by Zoe requested to follow me on Instagram. While I initially didn't think twice about it, I ended up going to the account because something about the name was very intriguing/welcoming/warm. I was completely surprised by the account in the best way possible! All of the pieces have a beautiful, delicate look to them and almost all of them can be personalized in some way to make it that much more special.

I've recently been looking for new rings to add to my wardrobe, as I have found that nice ones (without the crazy price tag) can be very hard to come by. The rings from Letters by Zoe are so so pretty and definitely worth taking a look. (I am also obsessed with all of their gold cuffs and the way they mixed and the way they stacked a few of them together)

Brand of the Week-Kendra Scott!

by Tinner in

A couple of weekends ago, I went to the mall to fix my phone at the Apple store and saw a beautifully decorated window with a selection of jewelry I could not say no to. Despite promising myself not to go in any stores, I felt as if I simply had to and I was escatic about what I "accidentally" got myself into. Not even aware of the fact I was walking into Kendra Scott, a company I have been familiar with for a long time as I used to rent their jewelry from rent-the-runway, I was obsessed with every piece in site. What I was most excited about was the Color Bar, a new element of the brand that allows customers to customize any type of jewelry, controlling the color, type, size, etc. and then watch the store associates create it right there in the store. Not only is the jewelry beautiful but it is personalized and makes the shopping experience that much more fun. Above our some of my favorite items and a pair of earrings I bought that day (top left). Visit the Kendra Scott website or a store near you to see what the buzz is about and find the jewelry item that suits you!

Skirtin' Around

A super hot trend right now is a skirt and matching crop top set.  BCBG Max Azria has an amazing selection of these sets for the summer, most of which are 40% off! After multiple trips to BCBG, drooling over the chic cropped jackets, and  sets, Lindsay finally went for the purchase. This high wasited blue and white patterned skirt shares a matching top that is also very flattering.

 She decided in order to make the most of the purchase, the skirt and shirt need to be worn separately when possible. Yesterday, for work, she paired the skirt with a simple, blush Madewell blouse. She added her new H&M heels (that were less than $30), her stylish Karen Walker sunglasses, and a bunch of her favorite jewelry from Neely by NVB. Also from Neely by NVB is the Brown Evie bag seen here, that is a perfect size for an everyday work bag.

 What also makes this bag so special is that the colors of the bag represent each school that Neely's team visits on their college tours. While Lindsay obviously loves the Washington and Lee Generals Blue and White, she decided the Brown University's colors were more neutral and would work well with any outfit, as it does here.

A while back we posted about bracelets that we love on Shopbop, from Hipamena. They go well with our last post, as they are bright boho accessories that would have been perfect for Coachella. Gilt is offering them at really great prices so make sure to check them out and sign up for it if you haven't already!

Spring Style

As the weather slowly gets warmer, it can be tricky picking the right outfit when it's still cold in the morning. A favorite trend right now is wearing a big sweater over a dress or romper. Recently, Emma and I "studied" on the porch of our sorority house after classes, and I was obsessed with her outfit. I decided to capture her ensemble that day to share with you all.

This look is exactly how to prepare for a chilly morning that turns into a beautiful day. This light pink J.Crew sweater works perfectly as a layering piece over this blue and white polka-dot romper. Paired with simple gold J.Crew bangles, a watch purchased through Neely by V.N.B., white Supergas, and a casual bun, this look combines chic with comfortable to make for the best outfit when transitioning into spring. We are also huge fans of these edgy sunglasses by Spitfire that are great for adding a little pop to a simple outfit.

Visit websites and stores like Zara, J.Crew, and Madewell to find other great rompers like this and also an awesome variety of pull over sweaters that are perfect as a layering piece.

Sweater ($79.50 but 25% OFF WITH CODE SHOPNOW) || Romper (similar-$136.00) ||

Bangles (similar-$115.00) || Bag (148.00) || Watch ($88.00) || Sunglasses (similar-$140.00) || Supergas ($65.00)

Layered Necklaces

From left to right: Lionette by Noa Sade ($380.00) || Gorjana ($75.00) ||

House of Harlow ($58.00) || Ettika Horn ($66.00)

Layering multiple necklaces or wearing a single necklace with different layered pieces is a huge trend right now and one of our favorites. Chokers have returned by doubling long necklaces and people are loving matching a simple gold piece with a larger statement or mixing subtle smaller necklaces. Gorjana and a number of other brands on Revolve right now are offering a great selection of necklaces that are perfect for layering or wearing alone. Click on the links above and visit http://www.revolveclothing.com to check out these amazing pieces and more.
