As the weather slowly gets warmer, it can be tricky picking the right outfit when it's still cold in the morning. A favorite trend right now is wearing a big sweater over a dress or romper. Recently, Emma and I "studied" on the porch of our sorority house after classes, and I was obsessed with her outfit. I decided to capture her ensemble that day to share with you all. 

This look is exactly how to prepare for a chilly morning that turns into a beautiful day. This light pink J.Crew sweater works perfectly as a layering piece over this blue and white polka-dot romper. Paired with simple gold J.Crew bangles, a watch purchased through Neely by V.N.B., white Supergas, and a casual bun, this look combines chic with comfortable to make for the best outfit when transitioning into spring. We are also huge fans of these edgy sunglasses by Spitfire that are great for adding a little pop to a simple outfit.

Rompin' Around

Finding a cute romper that you absolutely love is always the best because it can be worn in SO many different ways (ie: alone, under a sweater, accessorized with tons of jewels, or even with a tee on top)!

Rompers can easily be dressed up or down and are perfect when you literally want something in between shorts and a dress. Jack Rodgers and Jewls

As my friends and I (Lindsay) spent Memorial Day Weekend at my summer place, Fishers Island, I realized that all three girls happen to be wearing Jack Rodger Sandals as we got ready to watch the sunset and go out to dinner. Fashionable Finds

We recently took a quick trip to New Canaan, CT to look at some of the new spring pieces. Among the many finds, we popped into Jcrew, Wave, Ralph Lauren and Caren Forbes. However, we were most impressed with the outfits our friends were wearing when we arrived.

Hannah's new romper was a recent purchase from Urban Outfitters and also comes in a beautiful, spring peach. Abby paired a chambray shirt with white Jcrew shorts and new patterned Supergas. Warm Weather- Hot City Looks!

FINALLY the weather's warm and we can rock some of our favorite sunny day outfits and accessories!! This combination was the perfect daytime look for shopping and lunch in the city and was effortlessly transformed to night when replaced with a romper. It had eyes all widening and jaws dropping as our friend walked through the streets of NYC. The best part about this look was that each item was reasonably priced from companies like Zara, Free People, J.Crew, Steve Madden and Urban Outfitters. It really shows that it doesn't take a lot money to look chic and stylish for an adventure in the city! Stay tuned (this week) for more city looks and some of our favorite Spring time ensembles. Now is the best weather for creating easy outfits perfect for any occasion!
