We recently took a quick trip to New Canaan, CT to look at some of the new spring pieces. Among the many finds, we popped into Jcrew, Wave, Ralph Lauren and Caren Forbes. However, we were most impressed with the outfits our friends were wearing when we arrived.
Hannah's new romper was a recent purchase from Urban Outfitters and also comes in a beautiful, spring peach. Abby paired a chambray shirt with white Jcrew shorts and new patterned Supergas. This week we wanted to share shorts from a good friend of our's company, Boo Gemes. Boo's line has an adorable array of clothing, with everything from tunics to the shorts seen here. Whether we're in New York City or just wanting to look chic while going shopping, having lunch with friends, or doing errands, we're always trying to find the perfect outfits that are easy, simple and affordable! These Nanette Lepore shorts (pictured here) are perfect because they can be easily matched with an array of simple tops, jackets, or sweaters and will add a pop of color to any combination. We chose to put together this stylish but affordable bomber jacket from Free People with these shorts to add a little something edgy to an otherwise simple outfit. Adding wedges (like these ones from Zara) to a pair of flowy shorts also makes your legs appear longer and more lean.

As prom approaches, the pressure of finding the perfect dress becomes a bit overwhelming. FINALLY the weather's warm and we can rock some of our favorite sunny day outfits and accessories!! This combination was the perfect daytime look for shopping and lunch in the city and was effortlessly transformed to night when replaced with a romper. It had eyes all widening and jaws dropping as our friend walked through the streets of NYC. The best part about this look was that each item was reasonably priced from companies like Zara, Free People, J.Crew, Steve Madden and Urban Outfitters. It really shows that it doesn't take a lot money to look chic and stylish for an adventure in the city! Stay tuned (this week) for more city looks and some of our favorite Spring time ensembles. Now is the best weather for creating easy outfits perfect for any occasion!

The weather has been absolutely perfect this weekend down South which calls for shorts, tops and cute sandals!! We recently went on a coffee excursion and ended up finding the perfect place to shoot for Tinner (Our crazy friends came along for the ride and had the best time making fun of us - pictured below).
This outfit pairs some of our favorites pieces - warm weather clothing! Shoes and shorts are from Forever 21, the top is Whitney Eve, the scarf is an old slip from Calypso St. Barth that we turned into a Spring scarf and the sunglasses are Ray Ban. It's the perfect combination of inexpensive and expensive and an easy outfit to mimic!
One of our beautiful (and clearly very pale) friends, Emily Conway, wears a great Karina Grimaldi maxi in Antigua paired with a Tory Burch wrap bracelet and gold sandals! This dress is perfect for a fun dinner out in the Caribbean or even for something like PROM. Definitely a summer must-have!
