As my friends and I (Lindsay) spent Memorial Day Weekend at my summer place, Fishers Island, I realized that all three girls happen to be wearing Jack Rodger Sandals as we got ready to watch the sunset and go out to dinner. Jack Rodgers are great because they go with pretty much any look, especially in these colors and with fun summer dresses like the ones below. Welcoming in White
As we kick off the summer with Memorial Day, we also kick off the beginning of wearing white. Whether it's a white dress like this one from Zara or white jeans, we can't wait to rock each and every one paired with our favorite accessories. This outfit is perfect for a night out in the city. It's elegant yet stylish, and can be complemented by items like this necklace from Citrine and these black heels, also from Zara. Finding Your Style
This past Monday Taylor began her internship at Louis Vuitton, in New York City. Finding everyday outfits that are both appropriate for work and stylish can be challenging. Today's ensemble seemed very fitting as it featured two timeless, black pieces and fun jewelry.
However, with the weather still a bit chilly, it seems as though the City hasn't switched gears from black to white. Because this makes finding the appropriate outfit more difficult, it's important to use clothing that is simple and timeless. Always remember that wearing your best clothes to create a good first impression and a positive image is part of the internship experience. Fashionable Finds
We recently took a quick trip to New Canaan, CT to look at some of the new spring pieces. Among the many finds, we popped into Jcrew, Wave, Ralph Lauren and Caren Forbes. However, we were most impressed with the outfits our friends were wearing when we arrived.
Hannah's new romper was a recent purchase from Urban Outfitters and also comes in a beautiful, spring peach. Abby paired a chambray shirt with white Jcrew shorts and new patterned Supergas. 'Boo Gemes' Hits The South
This week we wanted to share shorts from a good friend of our's company, Boo Gemes. Boo's line has an adorable array of clothing, with everything from tunics to the shorts seen here. These shorts look great with a white top or sweater and can easily be dressed up or down. More City Looks
Whether we're in New York City or just wanting to look chic while going shopping, having lunch with friends, or doing errands, we're always trying to find the perfect outfits that are easy, simple and affordable! These Nanette Lepore shorts (pictured here) are perfect because they can be easily matched with an array of simple tops, jackets, or sweaters and will add a pop of color to any combination. We chose to put together this stylish but affordable bomber jacket from Free People with these shorts to add a little something edgy to an otherwise simple outfit. Adding wedges (like these ones from Zara) to a pair of flowy shorts also makes your legs appear longer and more lean.

Warm Weather- Hot City Looks!
FINALLY the weather's warm and we can rock some of our favorite sunny day outfits and accessories!! This combination was the perfect daytime look for shopping and lunch in the city and was effortlessly transformed to night when replaced with a romper. It had eyes all widening and jaws dropping as our friend walked through the streets of NYC. The best part about this look was that each item was reasonably priced from companies like Zara, Free People, J.Crew, Steve Madden and Urban Outfitters. It really shows that it doesn't take a lot money to look chic and stylish for an adventure in the city! Stay tuned (this week) for more city looks and some of our favorite Spring time ensembles.
