Just Keep Swimming. Happy Friday!!

by Tinner in

If you follow any sort of bloggers or even check Instagram regularly, you've probably already seen these Kiini Swimsuits. I first noticed them on the blogs @somethingnavy and Natasha Oakley's @abikiniaday (P.S. Natasha Oakley basically makes a living off of wearing swimsuits so visit her blog or check out abikiniaday.com for swimsuit inspiration).

Regardless, these Kiini crochet bikinis seem to be the hot item this summer and are definitely worth checking out. Although I was hesitant to do a post about them because a full set comes in  around $275, it is a timeless piece that will never go out of style.

Well made, cute bikinis are not cheap and this is no exception. But if you live at the beach all summer and can appreciate a really nice bikini, this swimsuit is perfect for you.

The Coveteur x SOUL CYCLE

by Tinner

If you're as big of a soul cycle fan as we are, take a few minutes to read this article on the Coveteur about how SC founders, Julie Rice and Elizabeth Cutler, tapped into the market and built their incredible brand. The article talks about how they met, their initial ideas on where they wanted to take it, and expansion plans (cough, London)! They even talk about wanting to do collabs with high fashion designers!

I love reading success stories about women, especially two who have changed the way I look at working out. The growth of Soul Cycle shows no signs of slowing down and this article is a really interesting read! (Photos: The Coveteur)

Spring Style

by Tinner in , , , ,

As the weather slowly gets warmer, it can be tricky picking the right outfit when it's still cold in the morning. A favorite trend right now is wearing a big sweater over a dress or romper. Recently, Emma and I "studied" on the porch of our sorority house after classes, and I was obsessed with her outfit. I decided to capture her ensemble that day to share with you all.

This look is exactly how to prepare for a chilly morning that turns into a beautiful day. This light pink J.Crew sweater works perfectly as a layering piece over this blue and white polka-dot romper. Paired with simple gold J.Crew bangles, a watch purchased through Neely by V.N.B., white Supergas, and a casual bun, this look combines chic with comfortable to make for the best outfit when transitioning into spring. We are also huge fans of these edgy sunglasses by Spitfire that are great for adding a little pop to a simple outfit.

Visit websites and stores like Zara, J.Crew, and Madewell to find other great rompers like this and also an awesome variety of pull over sweaters that are perfect as a layering piece.

Bangles (similar-$115.00) || Bag (148.00) || Watch ($88.00) || Sunglasses (similar-$140.00) || Supergas ($65.00)

Layered Necklaces

Layering multiple necklaces or wearing a single necklace with different layered pieces is a huge trend right now and one of our favorites. Chokers have returned by doubling long necklaces and people are loving matching a simple gold piece with a larger statement or mixing subtle smaller necklaces. Gorjana and a number of other brands on Revolve right now are offering a great selection of necklaces that are perfect for layering or wearing alone. Click on the links above and visit http://www.revolveclothing.com to check out these amazing pieces and more.
